Glue for sodium hydroxide
Hi all,
I have just got to first base with my first cell .
Im down under and it is going in a 105 4.5 l pertrol landcruiser.
I am using a slotted no holes design that I think is my own.
In the process my outer seal rail of perspex did not seal with weldon 16 so I needed a sticky glue to seal my cell . I mixed up a brew of 50/50 naoh and water then put in some sikaflex to test it and after the first boil up i fould that the sikaflex was unharmed ....yet i have read here somewhere that sikaflex will be eaten by the naoh. I would like some feedback from anybody who has this experience before I put htis "on the road"
another thing is Im ising 1/4 inch fittings ..any issues with flow??
Thanks In advance
Lindsay
