Connecting inlet and outlet to the cell

How do people typically connect the inlets and outlets to your dry cell? If the end plates are 1/2" plastic, and the nipples are plastic, do you just use PVC glue? What about brass connectors...or if you have metal end plates?

So many questions!

i would just use the white nylon plumbers tap on the threads
