    New to the whole project

Ok so I just started this thing and my first generator is an ss washer design, using 32 washers, making 8 sets of each, positive and negative connections, using 2 sets of 14 gauge wire to connect it all, it draws a lot of power and heats up way too much, I use baking soda and tap water, any suggestions on how to fix my power and heat issue? Like my connectors smoke every time I run it for more than 2 minutes.

I suggest you read everything you can on this forum starting a couple years back. It is all here. No need to repeat it over and over. Use the search feature to find information quickly. Start here and work backwards. It is only 20 pages.
