    Electrolyte "Distilled" or "Deionised" Water

hi guys I'm new here so be gentle on me
i am in the mists o building a smack gen11
i have done a lot of reading and studying of pictures

but am interested in the electrolyte at the moment

i have ordered Potassium Hydroxide (KOH) for the active ingredient of the electrolyte solution
what I'm interested in is what do people use as a base to mix with ?

    would you prefer
    Distilled water !!
    or
    deionised water!!

looking forward to some interesting reads
    thanks

I would you prefer Distilled water over these two choices because it is easily available(DI water is not).

Out of all types of water, I would still prefer tap water because of its cost and availability.

looking for the reasons for and against in using it really

I use deionized currently, and like the results I am getting. Actually I feel the results are better than I was getting from distilled. If you have a good source, use it, but don't let jeopardize your job. Like you I have a source for it, I think though if I had to purchase it, I wouldn't.
