    Dry Cell vs. Wet Cell

I've been out of the loop for the past 6 months (I'm in my final year in college and couldn't work on the car while doing classes, etc)- So what's the difference between a dry cell and a wet cell? Seems like everyone's building a "dry cell" now- are they more efficient? easier to maintenance? build?

I have built both and have not found a dry cell more efficient, just less heat buildup. Drycell is harder to build.

wet cell is submerged into the electrolyte and a dry cell has the electrolyte inside it with gaskets between the plates.
included pics of wet and dry cell(not mine) but good showing.
